COACH MARK CAMPBELL

Coach Campbell returns for his 2nd year with the Coachella Valley Jr Firebirds. He currently serves as President of Xavier College Preparatory High School and has spent the past 22 years in Jesuit Education. Prior to his career in education, Coach Campbell played Jr A hockey while growing up in Canada and then turned his attention to the game of golf where he was a 4 year letterman and was recognized as an All-American his junior year. After earning his Bachelor's Degree in Education, Coach Campbell served as the Director of Hockey and Head Coach at Dallas Jesuit, leading the Rangers to several State Championship appearances along with a State Championship season in 2008. In addition to his involvement in High School Hockey, Coach Campbell has been involved in youth hockey for many years with the Dallas Stars and the Dallas Oilers. As a USA Hockey Level 5 accredited Coach, Coach Campbell captured the 2012 U18 National Championship in East Lansing, Mich. Coach Campbell now holds a Masters Degree in Sports Administration from Canisius College and is a father to 3 wonderful children. Coach Campbell finds both purpose and inspiration from teaching life through the sport of hockey. Partnering with parents in the development of young people of character, confidence, compassion, and work ethic.
