COACH WESLEY WILLIAMS

I’m Coach Williams and my hockey journey began right here in Palm Desert, where I learned to skate at the local mall rink. Growing up, those early days at the mall were pivotal in shaping my love for the ice.

I pursued my academic goals with as much passion as I had for sports. I earned a Bachelor of Arts from UC Irvine, followed by a Master of Education from Arizona State University. These educational experiences have been instrumental in my approach to coaching, blending academic insight with athletic discipline.

Currently, I work as an educator while also dedicating myself to coaching hockey. My coaching philosophy centers on hard work, grit, and most importantly, having fun. I strive to create an environment where players are motivated and enjoy every moment on the ice.

I live in Palm Desert with my wife and our son, who is an aspiring goalie. Being deeply rooted in this community, I am committed to fostering a love for hockey that extends beyond the rink. My goal is to inspire players to embrace challenges with enthusiasm and to always find joy in the game.
