COACH TIRELL STOKES
Coach Tirell grew up in San Diego County playing roller hockey recreationally. He progressed to start playing on the ice and eventually playing Senior A with the Mountain West Hockey League for 7 years while being named Capitan for 2 consecutive seasons. Tirell is passionate about the game and growth of youth hockey. His experience playing and coaching has exposed him to techniques and methods that will help in the game. Over the past 10 years, he has had the privilege of working with and learning from some of the best hockey coaches in Southern California. Coached teams who have won several prestigious tournaments including 2 CAHA State Championships and 2 appearances at USA Hockey National Championships finishing with 2nd and 3rd place at the 14U and 16U level. He believes that every player has the ability to learn the game of hockey. His players will learn how to become teammates, work together, create relationships and fall in love with the sport, creating memories that will span a lifetime. He believes that every player has a unique approach to the game and plans to work towards the players individual goals. While his goal is to develop each player to their best potential, no matter what skill level they start at, and show them how to be physically and mentally strong within the sport.
