COACH ROBERT LIMONES

Coach Rob, a San Diego, CA native and active duty Marine, began his hockey coaching career in 2020 developing young athletes with learn-to-skate and learn-to-play programs for the Hoffman Estates Wolfpack. He then moved on to coaching various spring and fall teams for both Mites and Squirts. 

After moving to California in 2023, he joined the Jr. Firebirds for their inaugural season as an assistant coach for the Peewee’s 12U B team. 

Coach Rob uses his enthusiasm and passion for coaching and diverse background to integrate a fun and educational atmosphere that focuses on skating and gameplay fundamentals with an emphasis on game conditioning while encouraging a competitive love for the sport of hockey.
